PLAYER TO WATCH Adam “Budd” Clark came into the scene last season when he was awarded Northeast Conference (NEC) Rookie of the Year. From the second he stepped onto campus in North Andover he has been the starting point guard for the Warriors. The Philly native close to 14 points per game last season in his first season with Merrimack. Clark, is an old school point guard. In a day in age when the three is superior, Clark has a lethal mid-range game. He also loves to attack the rim and go up against bigger defenders. Standing 5-10, Clark is usually the smallest player on the floor at any given time, this means nothing to him. He has been designated as the Warriors “closer”. He has been known to knock down late game shots. While he was in high school at West Catholic his high school coach would often say the phrase “we are going to win the game because we have Budd Clark and you don’t.” The mantra has followed him to college, the Warriors have Clark and you don’t! NOTABLE ALUMNI Charlie Day ‘98 spent four years at the college before starting his acting career. He is most known for his role as Charlie on the show ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ as well as his parts in ‘Horrible Bosses’ and ‘Fist Fight’. He was one of the first ever students to major and graduate with a degree in fine arts at the institution. Day came back to the college as the 2014 commencement speaker and he has continued to be a connected part of the Merrimack College community.
