SAINT PETER’S UNIVERSITY

Saint Peter’s University

Saint Peter's University is a private, Jesuit university in Jersey City, New Jersey. Founded as Saint Peter's College in 1872 by the Society of Jesus, the university offers 70 undergraduate and graduate programs to more than 2,000 undergraduate and 1,500 graduate students. Its mascot is the peacock and its 16 Division I athletic programs compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), of which it is a founding member. The university is located on a 30-acre campus in the most diverse city in the nation, just a 12-minute PATH ride to Manhattan.

Peacocks come here with big hearts and big dreams. They never forget their roots. They don't take anything for granted. They graduate ready to give back to the world in a big way: as role models for their families, their communities and their professions.
