PLAYER TO WATCH Rigoni, a four-year starter for the Bobcats,is the lone senior on Quinnipiac’s 2020–21 roster. The Australia- native reached 1,000 career points earlier this season on Jan. 23. against Niagara, and is currently chasing down Quinnipiac’s all-time record for made three-pointers. The Preseason All-MAAC Third Team selection has averaged close to 10.0 points per game in his Quinnipiac career, and scored a career-high 30 points in the 2019 MAAC Tournament vs. Monmouth as a sophomore (2/24/19) – knocking down seven three-pointers. NOTABLE ALUMNI Following his graduate season at Quinnipiac University in 2019–20, Aaron Falzon joined his brother Tevin as a professional basketball player in Europe. Falzon started the 2020–21 professional season in France with the Etoile Angers of NM1, then recently joined the Leicester Riders of the BBL. The sharp- shooter averaged 8.2 points in six games with the Etoile Angers before heading to the BBL. As a graduate student in 2019–20, Falzon played in all 30 games for the Bobcats. He recorded 7.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, knocking down 56 three- point field goals during his final collegiate season.

HEAD COACH BAKER DUNLEAVY Baker Dunleavy, who was the associate head coach for a national -title winning team at Villanova in 2016, is currently in his fourth season as the head coach of the Quinnipiac men’s basketball program in 2020–21. Dunleavy led the Bobcats to theMAAC Semifinals in his first season in 2017–18, then guided Quinnipiac to aMAAC Tournament first round bye in both 2018–19 and 2019–20. Quinnipiac made a postseason appearance (CIT) for just the fifth time in program history during Dunleavy’s second year in 2018–19, helping the Bobcats post a winning record for the first time since 2013–14. A member of a well-known basketball family, Dunleavy’s older brother, Mike Dunleavy Jr., won a national championship as a player at Duke and recently completed his 15 th NBA season with the Atlanta Hawks. Their father, Mike Dunleavy Sr., also played 10 years in the NBA and served as head coach for four NBA franchises. Prior to Quinnipiac, Dunleavy assisted Jay Wright in all facets of the program as the associate head coach at Villanova – including on-court teaching, player development and recruiting.
