PLAYER TO WATCH Rachel Kuhl has taken on a new role at the forefront of the Peacocks women’s basketball program. The sharp-shooting, three point threat has done most of her damage from beyond the arc this season. Her most impressive performance came early in the season against Coppin State, where Kuhl poured in a career high 25 points on 60% shooting from beyond the arc. She has taken a big step from just a year ago, where she averaged 4.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. Shining off the court as well, Kuhl was named to the 2021-22 MAAC All-Academic team. NOTABLE ALUMNI While only leaving the program just a year ago, Kendrea Williams has left her mark on Saint Peter’s Women’s Basketball. Over the course of her career, she appeared and started in 89 games while scoring 1,167 points. She also set the Saint Peter’s career three point record by making 180 over the course of her career in Jersey City. She became the 24 th Peacock in history to reach 1,000 points, while finishing top-15 in career scoring, scoring average, three point field goals, three point field goals attempted, three point field goal percentage, and free throw percentage in Saint Peter’s History.

PLAYER TO WATCH Isiah Dasher has emerged as a key player within the Peacocks starting five this season. He has seen an increase in minutes this season due to his hard work both on and off the court. He has accumulated multiple 20-point performances this season, including a career-high 29 points in the Peacocks’ December 18th win over Quinnipiac. Last season, he made his first start as a Peacock and scored 15 points and finished with a perfect 5 for 5 shooting night against Nyack. He also poured in a season-high 17 points to help the Peacocks take down Canisius just one year ago. Dasher, in the best Cinderella run in NCAA history, also hit a big 3-pointer to help jump-start a run in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 victory over Purdue. NOTABLE ALUMNI Keydren Clark, a four-time All-MAAC selection, is one of the best players in the history of the MAAC, being named the 2005–06 MAAC Player of the Year and was selected as the MAAC Long Distance Shooter of the Year in 2003–04 and 2002–03 as well as the MAAC Rookie of the Year his freshman season. He is currently one of just 10 Division I student-athletes in NCAA history to reach 3,000 career points. Clark is the Saint Peter’s men’s basketball all-time leader in scoring, field goals made, field goals attempted, scoring average, 3-pointers made, 3-pointers attempted, free throws made, free throws attempted, free throw percentage, steals and steals per game. Clark also won the Haggerty Award in 2004–05 as the All-New York Metropolitan Player of the Year and was selected to the Saint Peter’s Hall of Fame in 2011.

HEAD COACH JENNIFER LEEDHAM Jennifer Leedham, a six-year veteran in the New York Metropolitan area as a Division I assistant, has been named the ninth women's basketball head coach in Saint Peter's University Athletics history in July of 2022. Leedham takes over the reins at Saint Peter's after serving as associate head coach at St. Francis Brooklyn, where she helped guide the Terriers to one of their best seasons in program history in 2021-22. Last winter, SFC posted a 17-10 overall record and finished 13-3 in the Northeast Conference, finishing second in the NEC standings and setting a new program record for victories. Under Leedham's guidance, the Terriers led the NEC in a number of offensive categories including scoring offense (64.7 ppg) and assists per game (14.3). Prior to joining the staff at SFC, Leedham served as a women's basketball assistant coach at fellow NEC member Wagner for three seasons. As a member of the Seahawks' coaching staff, Leedham helped guide the program to the 2018-19 NEC Tournament. She’ll look to continue building a legacy for a historically great program in Jersey City.

HEAD COACH BASHIR MASON

Bashir Mason, one of the most decorated young coaches in the country and a Jersey City native, was named the 16 th head coach of the Saint Peter's University Men's Basketball program on April 12 th , 2022. He orchestrated an extremely successful decade at Wagner as the Seahawks' head coach, leading the team to three Northeast Conference (NEC) regular season titles while posting a 165-130 record over that span in Staten Island. He became just the second coach in the conference's 40-year history to win three Jim Phelan Coach of the Year honors during that time. He’s no stranger to the MAAC, arriving at Wagner after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Marist College for the 2008 09 and 2009-10 seasons. He began his coaching career at his high school alma mater, St. Benedict's Prep of Newark, during the 2007-2008 season. Mason heads to Saint Peter's with a laundry list of national accolades, with hopes of creating a dynasty.
