2015 Women's Lacrosse Championship Program
As a part of the MAAC’s agreement with the Sport Changes Life Foundation, SCL will provide two full scholarships each year to MAAC scholar-athletes who wish to pursue advanced study in graduate programs at top universities in Ireland while contributing to community service programs for youth at risk and continuing to play their sport. The “MAAC Sport Changes Life Victory Scholars”will be trained to coach and mentor young people at risk in local communities gaining and sharing invaluable life experience, as well as progressing their academic and life goals. Requirements: 1. Completed an Undergraduate degree 2. Was a scholar athlete 3. Holds a 3.0 GPA or above
4. Previous experience coaching and working with young people in a community service capacity Application Deadline: April 30, 2014

As a part of the MAAC’s partnership with Disney Sports, the MAAC has been allocated three slots in the Disney Sports Internship program. The program provides graduate students the perfect opportunity to gain experience in a variety of disciplines while learning from the best of the best. Disney Sports Attractions will immerse students in major brands such as runDisney and ESPNWide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World® Resort.
Requirements: 1. Enrolled during the length of the internship in a Masters or Doctorate program (Highly recommended undergraduates will be considered on a case by case basis) 2. Has a 3.0 GPA or above 3. Must have community involvement, volunteerism, and relevant experience.
